Summer 2022
March 20th was the first “official” day of spring, but I’m not even sure winter came? No matter, the calendar declares the days of warm air and sunshine is upon us! So I’m going with the flow and looking toward summer, actually a bit into fall and winter too. These are the months to get outside, enjoy the beauty of Wisconsin and absorb some free vitamin D.
I hope you enjoy a gamut of options because that is what I’ve come up with … some exploring and history (Circus World in Baraboo), some music and dancing (Jersey Boys), some sailing and shopping (August 17th), and an outdoor adventure (August 6th); all leading into a Door County experience and a holiday get-a-away! Before our world was turned upside down and a bit sideways, I was looking to begin a tour of supper clubs around the state. If you haven’t yet connected the dots I have already begun. Mader’s, AudMar and Diamond Jim’s were visited in February, March and April. Stops to the Torch Lite and Silverycryst are included in the May overnight, and in June and August notice we enjoy the Del-Bar in the Dells and the Duck Inn in Delavan. Several more options will be offered before the end of the year including the Mill House Supper Club and the Fox and Hounds in December! Please read on for details.
A word of warning - all trips are filling quickly and I fully expect seats on the September Door County trip and December overnight to sell out. Do not wait to make your reservations for any date.
Finally and unfortunately covid remains a factor in our daily lives. I ask that you continue to bring a mask on every trip and be prepared to wear it if asked. Also, please be responsible, if you are not feeling well the day of the trip, stay home.
Sincere appreciation to those who share my brochure with family and friends. The more the merrier!
