March 20th was the first “official” day of spring, but I’m not even sure winter came? No matter, the calendar declares the days of warm air and sunshine is upon us! I am blessed with a wonderful husband and four healthy, intelligent and almost, self-sufficient children. I am also blessed with a rather large group of friends and travel companions who share my bit of wanderlust. Husbands & wives, sisters, mothers & daughters, and friends who enjoy getting away, even for just a day. Familiar faces that have travelled with me for years or just a friend of a friend who has recently heard about me - you join me. I recognize that you are the reason I am fortunate enough to enjoy theater productions and explore our beautiful state of Wisconsin and surrounding areas.

With that said, I’m no fool so I’ll keep my travels closer to home during the winter months. But closer to home does not mean we sacrifice quality or variety. I anticipate you will find something that will motivate you to get out and join me. Just wear a sweater.

Ready or not Fall is here. My favorite season filled with jeans, sweatshirts, crisp mornings and beautiful colors. My home life returns to a more rhythmic pace and my cooking shifts to a more hearty nature - soups, bread and baking! Cooler temperatures also signal the winter holidays are looming.
Those who know me well, know that the 4th of July is my favorite holiday, but Thanksgiving is close second. Time spent with the three “F”s … Family, Friends and Food!

Jaunts” as defined by Mr. Webster … “a short journey or excursion for pleasure”. Some who “jaunt” with me only join the walking trips. Others who “jaunt” with me only partake of the theater excursions. Of course there are those who enjoy a mixture of both.
