Sunday, March 9th ~ “The StepCrew” at the Schauer.  The StepCrew is a dynamic dance production combining three percussive dance styles - Irish, Tap and Ottawa Valley in a theatrical setting.  This amazing company is led by Cara Butler and the Pilatzke brothers Jon and Nathan.  Soloist Butler is best known as The Chieftains’ top Irish dancer for the past three decades, while the Pilatzke’s are undoubtedly Canada’s most exciting Ottawa Valley Step dancers.  Accompanied by the most virtuosic musicians from the Celtic, traditional and rock genres, the Step Crew balances traditional forms of dance with exciting modern fusions never seen before.

Sunday Brunch will be enjoyed at the Fox and Hounds!

Thursday, March 20th ~ “Drinking Habits” at the Sunset Playhouse.  Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent’s doors open.  Reporters go undercover as a nun and priest but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down.  Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the    convent and reconnect with lost loved ones.   

Dinner at Mo’s Irish Pub - choose from …

1. Mo’s Reuben - slow-cooked corned beef, sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing, and Swiss cheese on grilled marble rye bread.

2. Mo’s Shepherd Pie - slow simmered beef tips, carrots, peas and leeks in a rich gravy, topped with garlic mashed potatoes.

3. Jameson Glazed Chicken - two chicken breasts smothered in Jameson sauce, served with rice pilaf and steam vegetables.

Saturday, April 5th ~ “The Coalminer’s Daughter at the Schauer.  Loretta Lynn is the most awarded Lady in Country Music History with more than 60 years of recording and touring.  Her life was celebrated in an Oscar-winning film, which tells the story of a fiercely independent woman, born and raised in poverty in a rural Appalachian hamlet with seven brothers and sisters who rose to become the undisputed Queen of Country Music.

Wednesday, May 21st ~ “The Glen Miller Orchestra” at the Grand Oshkosh.  The legendary  Glenn Miller was one of the most successful of all dance bandleaders back in the Swing Era   of the 1930’s and 40’s.  Formed in 1956, it is still the most sought after big band orchestra in the world.  An eighteen member ensemble continues the music magic to this day!

Thursday, May 29th ~ Green Bay Botanical Gardens and Chocolate.  This full day begins with a sweet treat stop in Sheboygan as we make our way to explore one of the top 5 rated gardens in Wisconsin featuring 47 acres and 98,000 plants from Wisconsin and around the world.  We have another quick bit to eat before departing, then  we make our way home on a trail of chocolate.  The day culminates with dinner at a recommendation of Michael’s.  The Cellar District is located in a former Lutheran Church complete with stained glass windows, a pulpit and a choir loft.

 Thursday, July 31st ~ “Wicked” at the Marcus Center.  The Broadway sensation looks at what happened in the Land of Oz … but from a different angle.  Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin, smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an   extraordinary talent.  When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships … until the world decides to call one “good”, and the other one “wicked”.  This      spectacular production is one of my favorites.

10:00 tour the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass

11:45 lunch at the Waverly Beach Bar & Grill with views of Lake Winnegabo

3:30 arrive at Jurustic Park. Explore this outdoor sculpture park to discover a world of fantasy creatures roaring to life, crafted from rusted metal.

6:30 pm enjoy dinner at Northwoods Supper Club in Fifield, Wisconsin.

10:00 pm arrive at Legendary Waters Resort & Casino - our home for the next three nights

Thursday, June 19th

7:15 depart/ 7:30 Breakfast at Many Penny Bistro

9:00 OPTION I - docent lead tour of historic Bayfield and shopping. OPTION II - head to the Houghton Nature Preserve for a 1.5 mile hike to a waterfall along Lake Superior - then back to Bayfield for tour and shop with remaining time.

12:45 meet - location to be announced

1:15 to 4:15 Grand Tour of the Apostle Islands to include magnificent sea caves, multicolored cliffs, Raspberry Island and Devils Island Lighthouses, Brownstone and Basswood Quarry and Manitou Fishing Camp.

5:00 dinner at the Historic Rittenhouse

7:30 relax, swim or gamble at resort

Friday, June 20th

7:15 depart/7:30 breakfast at Bayfield Inn

9:00 to 3:00 Spend the day on Madeline Island. We take the ferry and meet our step-on docent for several tours, lunch and a bit of time to shop.

4:00 Dinner at St. James Social Lounge

6:00 OPTION I return to the resort - relax, pack and gamble if you choose. OPTION II - head to the Big Top Chautauqua to enjoy the music of Los Lonely Boys - return approximately 10:00 pm

Saturday, June 21st

6:45 load bus

7:00 buffet breakfast at Legendary Waters

8:00 depart

8:30 ferry ride to Michigan Island and lighthouse tour. Transport you to an era of maritime heritage where you’ll witness the towering beacon that guided countless sailors to safety. * Note there will be 100 stairs to complete this tour.

1:15 quick stop at Red Cliff Fish Company - bring a small cooler if you plan to bring fish home. 2:00 depart Bayfield, Wisconsin and head south

6:30 dinner at Silver Coach a unique dining experience in a restored railroad car, Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

10:00 return SW YMCA

10:30 return Mukwonago
